What is TPMS?

The Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) is a system in your vehicle that allows you to check and monitor your tire pressure on your dashboard. If an issue arises, the warning light will pop up, indicating it’s time for a check up. Most drivers tend to ignore this warning light, but we’re here to remind your how important your tire pressure is! Your tires are the only thing connecting you and your car to the road, so it’s important to give them the proper attention and care they need. The main cause for your TPMS light coming up is fairly simple: your tires are low on air and need to be refilled to their recommended PSI. This information can be found in your owners manual, or on your drivers’ side door lining. Along with this, low tire pressure can make for some other unpleasant issues:

• Lower fuel economy

• Accelerated tire wear
